At last Exmoor Ales marks its 40th Anniversary by bottling its famous first beer ‘Exmoor Ale’.
Brewed in 1980 the brewery’s first beer, Exmoor Ale, amazingly won the Great British Beer Festival for Best Bitter with just its 13th brew….and from that became one of the most popular session ales in pubs through the West Country and around the Country.
Increasing demand for choice lower strength bottled beers, and repeated requests by Exmoor drinkers to have it in a bottle, have at last have been realised.
Jonathan Price Exmoor’s MD said
”I am delighted to have this beer bottled and glad we’ve snuck it in just before the conclusion of our 40th year.”
