Tasting notes
The aroma gives roasted malt character, with hints of coffee and chocolate. Hints of citrusy and resiny character from the US hops.
Flavour-wise, there’s moderate roasted malt, reminiscent of roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate. Low levels of malt sweetness are balanced by a robust bitterness with a medium dry finish.
